1. Slow Load Speed
Readers are impatient. If your site takes more than 3 seconds to load, they bounce.

2. Cluttered or Confusing Navigation
Too many tabs. Weird dropdowns. No clear way to find your books.
If a reader has to work to get to your backlist, they’ll give up before buying. Your menu should feel like a well-paced slow burn—not a chaotic mess.
